Help Shape the Future of North Gate Swansea

Applications open from Today 3rd July for the North Gate Swansea Pride in Place Neighbourhood Board.

This is a unique opportunity for local people to help shape the future of North Gate Swansea and influence how up to £20 million of investment is used over the next ten years.

We are looking for passionate residents, businesses, community leaders and local changemakers who want to make a positive difference across North Gate Swansea. No previous Board experience is required.

What is North Gate Swansea Pride in Place?

North Gate Swansea Pride in Place is a UK Government funded programme designed to empower local people to shape the future of their neighbourhoods through long term investment, community leadership and local decision making.

North Gate Swansea includes North Hill, Upper High Street, Dyfatty, Hafod, Brynmelyn, Waun Wen and surrounding neighbourhoods.

The programme will support local people to develop a shared vision for the future and help create stronger communities, thriving places and greater opportunities for local residents.

About the Neighbourhood Board

The Neighbourhood Board will play a central role in leading the programme and ensuring that local people remain at the heart of decision making.
